We have been ministering to the people in the area for over 50 years. 

God has a purpose for this family of believers as an evangelical witness to carry the gospel in a contagious way to the communities around us. We truly are a regional congregation that shares the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ with neighbors from all over the South County surrounding area. 

Why visit our congregation? We show you the way to salvation and eternal life through a relationship with Jesus Christ exactly as the Bible promises. We help you make sense out of this life by living according to the Word of God! We help prepare you to deal with life's struggles by learning to trust and rely on God. You don't have to go it alone in this world! Jesus stands ready to help you whenever you ask.

We come together to worship God and hear His Word preached to help us grow to be more like Him. The worship service style is blended, with an emphasis on Biblical preaching. Worship is a time to escape the rat race and unwind in the arms of God. It's a time to leave our desires and interests behind. The one hour we give God on Sunday morning is not about us and our desires. This time is for worship of God, Bible study and fellowship. 

We have Sunday morning Bible Study classes and worship services that are geared for all ages. We have classes for Kindergarten through High School. There is also a ladies class, men's class, and couple's classes every Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to try different classes and find a class and a teacher that they feel comfortable to openly discuss the different scriptures each week. 

At Mehlville Baptist Church it's all about our family. Whether you are young, middle-age, or not so young, married, single, divorced, widowed, have children or not, you can be an active part of our family. Kids have a great time at our Vacation Bible School every summer. Our VBS teaches children all about God in a fun way.

Mehlville Baptist Church is a Christ-centered community of faith who believe that the key to having a right relationship with God is knowing Jesus Christ. Life without Jesus makes no sense at all, but you can understand what life is all about through a relationship with Him. You can develop that relationship through worship, Bible Studies, sermons, and friendships with others in our congregation who are just like you. In a world of confusion, it can all make sense!
